How do I register?

What is the Imagination Symposium?
The imagination Symposium is a free one-day event featuring a variety of subject matter experts. It is designed to educate as well as inspire, with the central topic being supporting people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to lead amazing, self-directed lives. This will be Core Services’ 3rd Imagination Symposium. The theme this year is Ghostbusters. WHO’YA’GONNA’CALL?!
I’d like to contribute. Can I?
Sure. Please visit the donation page of the website to make monetary donations if you’d like, though no donation is required. You may also give cash or via electronic payment the day of the event.
How long will the event last?
It is single day event designed to be fast-paced, educational, and entertaining. It will last from approximately 9am to 3pm on Tuesday October 20th, 2026. Guests are encouraged to arrive earlier, around 8:30, to receive their t-shirt and get settled before the event begins. Doughnuts, pastries, and coffee/juice will be available upon arrival.
What about Parking?
Valet services will be provided. Vehicles may pull directly to the front entrance for convenient loading/unloading. Registration will begin around 8:30 near the front entrance.
Is there a dress code?
Come as you are! Guests may wear casual, comfortable clothing. The event is indoors but in late October it may be chilly outside.
What about people with sensory issues or difficulties with crowds?
A quiet “sensory” area will be available to get away from the noise and the crowds
Is lunch provided?
Yes! The menu options will be your choice of:
Entrée: Fried chicken or steak ‘n gravy
Side: Taters with gravy or green beans
Dessert: Peanut butter pie or pecan pie
Drink options will be coffee, water, sweet tea, unsweet tea.
