Mission
Core Services is an organization committed to a person centered philosophy. All individuals supported are treated with dignity and respect. We provide services to individuals who are mentally challenged with the opportunity to promote personal choices, self-determination, community inclusion, advocacy for their civil rights, and a safe and secure environment. All individuals are to be free of abuse, neglect and exploitation.
Core Services of Northeast Tennessee is a locally managed non-profit organization with a long history of providing professional supports to mentally challenged adults. We work diligently to provide an inclusive environment to promote the needs of our service recipients.
Core Services of Northeast Tennessee, (d.b.a.), a division of Washington County Community Residential Services, Inc.; is a 501 (C) (3) private, non-profit organization serving the needs of the individuals that are mentally challenged in Northeast Tennessee. Core Services is contracted with the State of Tennessee, Division of Mental Retardation. Counties supported are Washington, Carter, Unicoi, Johnson, Sullivan and Greene.
